Welcome to MaxAI! Before you begin, it’s important to understand two key visual components: the Sidebar and the Context menu. These tools are designed to make your experience with MaxAI more convenient and efficient. Let’s explore how to activate and use them with 1-click for maximum productivity.

4 ways to access sidebar

Go to any webpage and:

Press ⌘/Alt+J

Right-click > MaxAI.me

Click the MaxAI.me logo

Click the quick access button

Using sidebar

Once the sidebar is open, you’re presented with a variety of tools at your fingertips, ready to be used instantly:

Chat

In the pop-up sidebar window, you can easily delve into any topic with MaxAI.

Steps to use the Chat feature:

Select the AI models you wish to use.
Enter your question in the text box below.
Press Enter/ Click the send button.
And wait for the AI response from MaxAI.

The Chat feature acts as your personal AI assistant, ready to engage in real-time conversations with advanced AI models. Whether you need factual information, troubleshooting assistance, or just desire to explore a topic out of curiosity, the Chat function is here to provide accurate, conversational responses. It’s like having a knowledgeable friend by your side, available at the click of a button.

Summary

Condense lengthy articles or reports into digestible summaries with 1-click.

Open any webpage or drag a PDF file into the browser.
In the sidebar, click on the “Summary” tab which is located just below the “Chat” tab.
If the summary doesn’t meet your needs, feel free to ask follow-up questions.

This feature transforms extensive articles, detailed reports, and comprehensive studies into concise summaries. By pinpointing key points and essential information, it saves you time and effort, allowing you to quickly understand the core message of the material.

Utilize advanced AI capabilities to conduct comprehensive searches across the internet with 1-click.

Easily find out the AI search tab(bellow Summary tab).
Enter your question in the text box below.
Press Enter/ Click the send button.
Wait for AI search results that provide real-time internet information, knowledge, and references.

Select any text on any webpage and:

Press ⌘/Alt+J

Click “Ask AI” from the mini menu

Right-click > MaxAI.me

Click the MaxAI.me logo

Using context menu

Once you open the context menu, you’ll find a variety of AI tools and options tailored to the highlighted content.
Simply select the AI tool you need from the menu.
After the AI generates content based on your selections, you have several productivity options:

With 1-click, you can replace the selected text.
Alternatively, you can copy the content for future use.
If you prefer not to change the original text, you can choose to insert the generated content below for further consideration.

How to summarize with 1-click

Summarize PDF with 1-click

Open PDF file in the browser you are using.
Easily find the Summarize button by MaxAI at the top right of the webpage.
Click it.
AI will summarize the PDF on that page with just 1-click.

Summarize YouTube videos with 1-click

Navigate to the YouTube video you want to summarize.
Easily find the Summarize button by MaxAI at the bottom right of the video.
Click it.
AI will summarize the YouTube video on that page with just 1-click.

Summarize email with 1-click

Begin by opening the email you want to summarize in Gmail or Outlook.
Easily find the Summarize button by MaxAI at the bottom right of the video.
Click it.

Enter your follow-up question directly into the text box.
MaxAI will provide answers based on the original video, PDF, email or any webpage you’ve just summarized.

How to reply to emails with 1-click

Access the email you need to respond to by opening it in the web version of Gmail or Outlook.
Easily find the “Instant reply” button beside the reply and forward buttons.
Click it.
Select a keyword that conveys your intended message. MaxAI offers several common keywords as presets, but you can also outline your email in brief notes or use your own custom prompts.
AI will generate responses based on the keywords you choose and the email you are replying to with 1-click.

How to reply to social media posts with 1-click

Open your social media account and locate the post or comment you wish to reply to.
Easily find the “Instant reply” button beside the text box.
Click it.
Select a keyword that conveys your intended message. MaxAI offers several common keywords as presets, but you can also write your response in brief notes or use your own custom prompts.

After the AI generates your response, you can continue editing it by using the edit-or-review-draft-menu.
