How to use AI summary

Accessing the AI summary feature is the first step to unlocking its potential. This button is conveniently located on the sidebar while browsing any webpage, making it easily accessible.

Summarize webpage

While navigating any webpage, look for the MaxAI.me icon on your screen. A single click on this icon opens a versatile sidebar where you can easily access the AI summary feature.

You can also access AI summary through quick access: Hover your mouse over the MaxAI icon on the right side of the screen to find the summarize button above the icon.

This feature simplifies integrating timestamps for easy navigation and saves time by highlighting key points without watching the whole video. Here’s a snapshot of its functionalities:

Summarize PDF file

When browsing PDF documents, you will easily find a “summarize” button from MaxAI next to the content you wish to summarize.

Summarize Youtube video

When browsing Youtube videos, you will easily find a “summarize” button from MaxAI under the video you wish to summarize.

Timestamped summary

Click the second button at the top.
The AI models will generate a summary and suggest appropriate timestamps for key moments in the video.
Click on the timestamp to jump directly to that specific part of the YouTube video.

Summarize comments

Click the third button at the top.
The AI models will summarize the comments of the Youtube video.
Quickly find out the main reactions in the comments section.

Show transcript

Click the fourth button at the top.
The AI models will summarize and show you the transcript of the Youtube video.
Click on the timestamp to jump directly to that specific part of the YouTube video.

Use your own prompts

You can use your own prompt for the current video by clicking the fifth button at the top. For detailed usage of “My Own Prompts,” click to jump to the related page.

Summarize emails

When browsing Gmail/Outlook emails, you will easily find a “summarize” button from MaxAI next to the content you wish to summarize.

After summarizing, you will find 5 buttons at the top of the sidebar. By clicking them individually, you can get different types of summaries：

Highlight content to summarize

You can also highlight content and access the context menu to summarize the selected text.

Ask AI to delve deeper

If you still have doubts or want to ask some follow-up questions after AI summary.
Enter your follow-up question directly into the text box.
MaxAI will provide answers based on the original video, PDF, email or any webpage you’ve just summarized.

Using My own prompts for AI summary
